Brown Plus Receives 2025 Financial Services Excellence Award from Newsweek

Leading accounting and advisory firm, Brown Plus, is proud to announce that it has received the 2025 Financial Services Excellence Award through Newsweek’s 2025 Excellence Index. The Financial Services Excellence Award recognizes financial service providers across the nation for their greatness in social responsibility, sustainability and customer service.

Brown Plus announced in December of 2024 that it was ranked #849 on Newsweek’s 2025 Excellence 1000 Index – a list of the top 1,000 countries across the country that have demonstrated best practices in financial responsibility, stakeholder ratings and social responsibility ratings. The rankings were determined by the Best Practice Institute (BPI), which analyzed over half a million data points and created a proprietary scoring system to measure employee ratings; customer ratings; environmental/social/governance (ESG) risk ratings and ethical impacts; quality and safety standards adherence; research and development (R&D) spending; alignment with international standards on human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption; number of customer complaints and more.
