Central Penn Business Journal Honors Brown Plus’ Scott Henry As a 2023 Forty Under 40 Award Recipient
Scott A. Henry, CPA, MBA, Senior Manager at Brown Plus, was recently named as one of Central Penn Business Journal ’s 2023 Forty Under 40 award recipients. Scott and the other honorees will be recognized at an awards event on Wednesday, October 18, at the Hilton Harrisburg.
The Forty Under 40 award recognizes professionals under the age of 40 who are leaders of their organizations, industries and communities based on their professional accomplishments, community service and commitment to inspiring change. The winners are selected each year by an outside panel of judges, some of which are previous Forty Under 40 award winners.

Scott has over nine years of public accounting experience, with a specialization in providing audit and review services to governmental entities and nonprofit organizations. He is a key member of the Firm’s Nonprofit and Government Practice, which provides attest, tax and advisory services to more than 300 nonprofit organizations and governmental entities across the Mid-Atlantic region.
Scott earned both his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting, and his Master of Business Administration from Shippensburg University.
In addition to his role as a client advisor, Scott serves as a Board Member and Finance Committee Member for Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area. He also serves as a volunteer for Junior Achievement of South Central Pennsylvania. Additionally, Scott is a graduate of Leadership Harrisburg Area (LHA)’s Community Leadership Series (CLS) Class of 2020.
