Coming in as a first-year team member, they actively encouraged me to ask questions, while challenging me to take ownership and make meaningful contributions to engagements. The wide diversity of clients and service lines ensures that you will be exposed to nearly every facet of public accounting and find what you are most interested in pursuing. On a personal level, I have been consistently impressed with the Firm’s commitment to providing work life balance and taking the time to be stewards of the local community, with paid days off to volunteer. I started full-time with Brown Plus after graduating from college. When I accepted my position, I moved from Pennsylvania to Maryland. The team members in my office helped with my relocation, giving me advice when apartment-hunting and inviting me to volunteer in the community. The Firm has been very supportive of my professional growth, allowing me days off to take my CPA exams and encouraging me to pursue my professional interests, all while challenging me to become a better accountant. My time with Brown Plus has shown the Firm’s dedication to me, both professionally and personally.

Brown Plus is one of the Best Places to Work in PA for a reason! This company truly cares about its employees. I started as an intern and quickly moved up to my current role as supervisor, and I credit my career growth to all the support I receive from my coworkers and mentors, both inside and outside of the office. Additionally, the life balance the Firm provides allows me to spend time with my family, as well as study for the CPA exam. Brown Plus has the best culture of any company I’ve ever worked for and is the reason I love my job.

Since I graduated college about 5 years ago, being a part of the Brown Plus team has been a great experience for me. The Firm has given me all of the tools that I need to grow, both professionally and personally. The leadership team is very supportive, always encouraging and will do anything they can to help me reach my goals. In addition to supporting hard work and fast career growth, Brown Plus also likes to have fun! There are endless professional events and social activities that are always a great time. Most importantly, I really enjoy the culture that the Firm has built and the amazing people that I get to work with. Our leaders genuinely care about their team members and always treat us with dignity and respect. My time working at Brown Plus has been an incredible experience, and has helped me grow, both professionally and personally. From intern to supervisor, the support and encouragement I have received every step of the way has been extraordinary. The culture at the Firm makes me feel like a person and not just an employee, which is evident in management’s effort to celebrate hard work and accomplishments. One of my favorite parts of my career is talking to clients and hearing how thankful they are for the work our team does for them. The client relationships put a person behind the numbers and make the job more rewarding. As a primarily remote employee, I am thankful for the relationships I have built with my coworkers that help me feel like part of a team, even if we are not physically sitting beside one another. I had always been interested in working at a public accounting firm, and even when I came for my interview, I could tell it would be a great fit based on my interactions with Firm leaders during my interview. In addition to the work I perform, my favorite part about Brown Plus is the fun social and committee events that we do outside of work. The team-oriented dynamic and great employee benefits make Brown Plus a great work environment for me.
