Dr. Nancy Stempin is the Director of Technical Compliance at Brown Plus and has more than 20 years of public accounting experience. In her role at Brown Plus, she is responsible for the review of audit, attest and other accounting services report documents, as well as other technical accounting reporting matters.
She advises clients on the impact of accounting, financial reporting, disclosure and regulatory changes. Previously, Nancy was a National Executive Director with a Big Four accounting firm, focusing on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. She also held Director of Finance and Controllership roles with several pharmaceutical and chemical companies.
Nancy earned her Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Drexel University and her Doctorate in Business Administration from Georgia State University. She is a certified public accountant in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. She is also a professor at Stockton University.
